David Eagleman

David Eagleman (born 1971) is a neuroscientist and author. He earned a doctorate in neuroscience and studied under the biologist Francis Crick. Eagleman worked in research and teaching at Stanford University, focusing on the unconscious and human perception. His collection of short stories about the afterlife, “Sum” (published in German as “Fast im Jenseits”), became a bestseller translated into 20 languages. His other books include “Incognito: The Secret Lives of the Brain” and “The Brain”.
