David Bowie

David Bowie (1947–2016), born David Robert Jones in London, was a British musician, singer, producer, and actor. From the early 1970s onward, he shaped rock and pop music with albums such as “Hunky Dory” and “The Man Who Sold the World.” He became internationally renowned in particular for “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.” His notable artistic personas included Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane, and the Thin White Duke. His final album, “Blackstar,” was released two days before his death in New York.
