David Barrie

David Barrie, born in 1953 near London, studied psychology and philosophy at Oxford. He subsequently worked in the diplomatic service and at the British Cabinet Office, where he supported the prime minister and the cabinet in their work. In 2010, he was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) for his commitment to the visual arts. His book »Sextant: Die Vermessung der Meere« was published in 2015.
