David A. Sinclair

David A. Sinclair was born in Australia and earned a doctorate in molecular genetics at the University of New South Wales in Sydney. He subsequently moved to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). From 1999 onward, he worked at Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he served as a professor in the Department of Genetics and co-founded the Paul F. Glenn Center for the Biology of Aging. His research on the biology of aging attracted broad media attention, and HBO produced a documentary about it.
