Darren Charlton

Born in 1973, Darren Charlton worked as a social worker for around fifteen years, most recently with homeless people at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in London. He began writing after a trip to the United States, where he hiked and camped in national parks. His debut novel, “Wranglestone,” was nominated for the Costa Book Award and the YA Book Prize and was longlisted for the Branford Boase Award.
