Dario Fo

Dario Fo (1926–2016) was a contemporary dramatist. His body of work includes more than 70 plays, among them *Women, War and Other Subjects* (*Kinder, Küche, Kirche*). He received the 1997 Nobel Prize in Literature and was also involved in political opposition to Silvio Berlusconi’s media power.
