Daphne Merkin

Daphne Merkin, born in New York in 1954, is an author and literary and film critic. Her work has appeared in publications including The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, Elle, and Vogue. In addition to “Mein fremdes Ich,” she has published a novel and two essay collections and worked as a publishing editor. Merkin has one daughter.
