Daniel Rosenblatt

Daniel Rosenblatt was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1925. He studied at Columbia University and Harvard University and trained in Gestalt therapy with Laura Perls. After a long academic and scientific career, he worked for more than forty years in private psychotherapy practice in New York. He was a Fellow and former vice president of the New York Institute for Gestalt Therapy and led Gestalt therapy training groups in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Japan. His publications include “Gestalt Therapy for Beginners” and “Gestalt Therapy for Every Case: A Guide to Living an Independent Life.” Rosenblatt died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2009.
