Daniel Keyes

Daniel Keyes (1927–2014) was a writer who studied psychology and literature. He initially worked as a magazine editor and fashion photographer, and later as an English teacher and lecturer, including at Ohio University. He became best known for the novel “Flowers for Algernon.” He also published three other novels and three nonfiction books featuring psychological case studies.
