Daniel J. Siegel

Daniel J. Siegel studied medicine at Harvard Medical School and completed postgraduate training at UCLA in pediatrics, general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry. He was a professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and director of the Mindsight Institute. Siegel wrote several books on parenting and development, as well as on the therapeutic use of findings from neuroscience. He is the father of two children.
