Daniel Fulda

Daniel Fulda (born 1966) studied history, German studies, historical auxiliary sciences and education in Cologne. In 2007, he was appointed professor of modern German literature at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. From 2007 to 2020, he served as managing director of the Interdisciplinary Centre for the Study of the European Enlightenment (IZEA). His research focuses include the long eighteenth century, the reception of the Enlightenment and contemporary literature. His publications and edited volumes include “Revolution trifft Aufklärungsforschung” (2023) and “Die Bilder der Aufklärung” (2024).
