Daniel Drepper

Daniel Drepper is a German investigative journalist. His professional positions have included leading the joint investigative project of NDR, WDR and Süddeutsche Zeitung and serving as editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed News Germany. He also helped found the nonprofit investigative center Correctiv. Drepper studied investigative journalism at Columbia University in New York and was involved with Netzwerk Recherche, a German association for investigative journalism, serving as its chair. His work has received awards including the Wächterpreis, Reporterpreis and Nannenpreis. He has also been named Editor-in-Chief of the Year and Journalist of the Year.
