Daniel C. Abel

Daniel C. Abel is a marine scientist and professor of marine science at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. His research focuses on the ecology and physiology of sharks. He has written several books about sharks and rays, including *The Lives of Sharks* and *Tooth and Claw: Top Predators of the World*.
