Dana Mattioli studied at American University in Washington, D.C. She began writing for The Wall Street Journal in 2006 and worked there as an investigative reporter. She became known in part for her reporting on Amazon’s business practices and market power. Her work was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and received the Gerald Loeb Award and the WERT Prize from the Women’s Economic Roundtable for excellence in business journalism.
