Dan Brown

Dan Brown, born in 1964 in Exeter, New Hampshire, is an American author. His first book, the thriller “Digital Fortress” (German: “Diabolus”), was published in the United States in 1998. He is best known for his novels featuring the symbologist Robert Langdon, including “Angels & Demons,” “The Da Vinci Code,” “The Lost Symbol,” and “Inferno.” “The Da Vinci Code” was adapted into a film starring Tom Hanks. Brown’s books have been translated into numerous languages, including 54. He studied English and Spanish at Amherst College. Music played an important role in his early life, and “Wild Symphony” was his first picture book.
