Dakota Meyer

Dakota Meyer, born in 1988 in Columbia, Kentucky, is a former U.S. Army sergeant and war veteran. In recognition of his actions in Afghanistan, where he rescued numerous fellow servicemembers during an attack, he received the Medal of Honor, the United States’ highest military decoration, in 2011.
