Daisy Johnson

Daisy Johnson, born in 1990, is a British author. Her debut novel, »Untertauchen«, made her the youngest author ever to be shortlisted for the Booker Prize. Her second novel, »Die Schwestern«, was adapted for film by Ariane Labed. Following »Fen«, »The Hotel« is her second short-story collection. Johnson’s short fiction has received the Harper’s Bazaar Short Story Prize, the A. M. Heath Prize and the Edge Hill Short Story Prize. Her immersive theatre work »Viola’s Room« premiered in 2024 with Helena Bonham Carter as narrator.
