Daisy Bird

Daisy Bird is the pseudonym of an author of nonfiction and children’s books about the relationship between humans and animals. She worked in museum publishing for many years before becoming a full-time author. Her books have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list. Bird grew up on a farm in western England; the English Middle White is cited as her favorite breed of pig.
