Dagur Sigurdsson

Dagur Sigurdsson, born in Reykjavík in 1973, is an Icelandic handball coach. From 2009, he coached the German Bundesliga club Füchse Berlin, reaching the EHF Champions League Final Four with the team in 2012 and winning the DHB-Pokal in 2014. From 2014 onward, he coached the German national team, which won the European Championship under his leadership in 2016. In 2016, he was named World Handball Coach of the Year for 2015.
