Cristina Morales

Cristina Morales, born in Granada in 1985, studied law and political science, specializing in international relations. She wrote several novels and short stories and worked as a playwright for, among others, Sol Picó, Sara Molina and the National Theatre of Catalonia. In 2019, she received Spain’s Premio Nacional de Narrativa as its youngest-ever recipient. In 2021, Granta named her one of Spain’s best young authors. Her novel “Easy Language” received the International Literature Award from the Haus der Kulturen der Welt in 2022.
