Author · 13 books

Corrie ten Boom (1892–1983) was a Dutch Christian who, during the Nazi occupation, worked with her sister Betsie to help save Jewish people. The Gestapo arrested them and deported them to Ravensbrück concentration camp, where they secretly held Bible study meetings and worship services. Corrie ten Boom was the only member of her family to survive the camp. After the Second World War, she founded a home for war victims and traveled to different countries as a Christian evangelist. Her life became particularly associated with her advocacy of forgiveness.
