Cornelia Koppetsch

Born in 1967, Cornelia Koppetsch is a sociologist. From 2009 onward, she held a professorship in sociology at Technische Universität Darmstadt. She studied sociology, psychology, and philosophy and earned her doctorate in sociology at Freie Universität Berlin under Martin Kohli and Wolf Lepenies. Her other academic stations included the University of Chicago, the University of Jena, and Humboldt University of Berlin. Her research has addressed social inequalities, gender relations and couples, education and science, and the rise of new right-wing parties.
