Corinna Popp

Corinna Popp studied theatre arts and German linguistics at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris. She worked as a translator from French, dramaturg, and theatre director. From 2008 to 2011, she was an assistant director at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg, where she created her first professional productions, made two short films, and led several youth theatre clubs. During her studies, she co-founded the theatre collective visages with Zeynep Su Kasapoglu. With the Zeitgeist Gruppe, she presented the site-specific performances “Letzte Talfahrt, last descent” (2013) and “Die Dinge” (2014) in Innsbruck.
