Corina Bomann

Corina Bomann (born 1974 in Parchim, Germany) is a German author. She grew up in a village in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and wrote novels for both adults and young readers. Her breakthrough came with The Butterfly Island (Die Schmetterlingsinsel). Among her notable works is the four-volume historical Waldfriede Saga, which explores the history of a Berlin hospital. Her novels have been translated into numerous languages and published internationally.
