Constanze Kleis

Constanze Kleis studied sociology and education in Frankfurt am Main. After completing her degree, she first worked as an editor at Burda Verlag in Munich and later as an editor-in-chief at Prinz Frankfurt. She subsequently worked as a freelance journalist and author, writing for publications including the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and women’s magazines. She published more than 20 books, both independently and in collaboration with Susanne Fröhlich. Their joint works include the SPIEGEL bestsellers Runzel-Ich and Diese schrecklich schönen Jahre. Kleis and Fröhlich were jointly nominated for the German Book Prize.
