Constantin Schreiber

Constantin Schreiber (born 1979) is a lawyer and journalist. After working with Deutsche Welle and receiving a Reuters scholarship at the University of Oxford, he was a correspondent in Dubai from 2006 to 2009 and subsequently worked as a media adviser at Germany’s Federal Foreign Office. He has moderated the Tagesschau and Arabic-language television programs. In 2016, he received the Grimme Award for the German-Arabic program Marhaba – Ankommen in Deutschland. Schreiber speaks Arabic and edited the writings of Saudi blogger Raif Badawi in the volume 1000 Peitschenhiebe. His books include Inside Islam, Kinder des Koran, Die Kandidatin and Kleopatras Grab.
