Connie Palmen

Connie Palmen, born in 1955, studied philosophy and Dutch literature. Her first novel, *The Laws*, was published in 1991. She has received several awards for her work, including the AKO Literature Prize for *The Friendship* and the 2016 Libris Literature Prize for *You Say It*.
