Born in 1971, British author Conn Iggulden taught English at the University of London and worked as a teacher for seven years before turning to historical adventure fiction. He became known for works including the “Emperor” trilogy and the “Genghis Khan” and “Attika” series. Together with his brother Hal, he wrote the nonfiction book “The Dangerous Book for Boys,” which was named Book of the Year at the British Book Awards.
