Collin McMahon

Collin McMahon (born 1968 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany) is a German-American author and translator. In the 1990s, he reported on the Yugoslav Wars as a journalist for BR-Zündfunk and supported aid efforts for Bosnian refugees. As a screenwriter, he contributed to Lancelot von Naso’s film “Waffenstillstand,” which received the German Film Award for Emerging Talent and the Prix Europa. McMahon wrote the children’s comic novel “Lucas und Skotti” and translated the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series.
