Claus-Peter Hutter (born 1955) holds a degree in public administration and has published numerous books, reports and other works as an author, co-author and editor, focusing on nature, environmental and consumer issues. He headed the Environmental Academy of Baden-Württemberg for many years and served as a lecturer at the University of Stuttgart. He was also an honorary senator of the University of Hohenheim and president of the NatureLife-International Foundation. His contributions to environmental and sustainability issues were recognized, among other distinctions, with the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany and an honorary doctorate.
