Claudia Kern

Claudia Kern wrote historical, fantasy, and science-fiction novels as well as nonfiction books about American television series. She also worked as a translator, film and television critic, and writer of stories and dialogue for computer games. Kern co-founded the science-fiction magazine SpaceView and served as its editor-in-chief for several years. In 1999, she worked as a television series editor for the German broadcaster ProSieben. She studied American Studies. Her enthusiasm for fantasy began in childhood after discovering J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings.
