Christopher R. Green is a linguist and Associate Professor of Linguistics at Syracuse University. As a phonologist, he focuses particularly on prosody, metrical structure, tone, and prominence. He has conducted fieldwork in Mali and Kenya, as well as among diaspora communities of African language speakers in the United States and Europe. In 2021, he published the reference grammar “Somali Grammar.”
