Christopher Clark

Christopher Clark (born 1960) is a historian. His academic career includes a professorship in modern European history at St Catharine’s College, Cambridge. His research focuses on the history of Prussia. He has written, among other works, a biography of Wilhelm II and the books *Prussia*, *The Sleepwalkers*, *Time and Power*, *Prisoners of Time* and *Spring of Revolution*. For *Prussia*, he received the Wolfson History Prize in 2007 and, in 2010, became the first non-German-speaking historian to receive the Historical College Prize. He also became known to a broad television audience as the presenter of several ZDF documentary series.
