Christof Siemes

Christof Siemes was born in Mönchengladbach in 1964 and grew up near the Bökelberg stadium. He studied German, art history and philosophy. From 1993 onward, he worked as an editor in the arts and culture section of the weekly newspaper Die Zeit. Alongside his journalism, he played midfield for the amateur football team “Das Wunder von Bern.”
