Christo Foerster

Christo Foerster was born in Berlin in 1977. He studied sports science in Cologne and journalism in Berlin, and worked as an editor, most recently as editor-in-chief of the German edition of Men’s Fitness magazine. As an author and adventurer, he helped establish the idea of micro-adventures in Germany. His Mikroabenteuer book series is regarded as a contribution to a new outdoor and travel movement; in 2018, he received the German Selfpublishing Award for the book Mikroabenteuer. By his own account, he put “adventurer” on his business card and subsequently sought out unusual experiences close to home.
