Christine Streit

Christine Streit is a mathematics education scholar. She completed postgraduate studies in educational science and earned a doctorate in mathematics education. She then worked for five years as an academic councillor at the Institute of Mathematics Education at the University of Education in Freiburg, Germany. In 2010, she took up a professorship in the development of mathematical thinking in childhood and mathematics education at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. Her research focuses include early mathematics learning, individual learning support, and competence-oriented assessment and development.
