Christine Lehmann

Christine Lehmann was born in Geneva in 1958. She studied art history and initially worked as an editor for magazines, later becoming a news editor at Südwestrundfunk, a German public broadcaster. In addition to radio plays, young adult books and plays, she has published more than 30 works of fiction and nonfiction. Since the mid-1990s, she has been known primarily as a crime novelist. Her works include the novels featuring the series protagonist Lisa Nerz, among them The Second World (2019), which appeared several times on the German crime fiction best-of list.
