Christine Kugler

Christine Kugler was born in Hersbruck, Bavaria, in 1982 and grew up in the countryside. After studying art education with a focus on painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, she pursued a career as a freelance children’s book illustrator and author. As a child, she already drew her own pictures for her favorite stories. She created the character Benno Beaver for a board book.
