Christine Heppermann

Christine Heppermann grew up in Omaha, Nebraska, and studied philosophy and literature at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She earned a master’s degree in children’s literature and in writing for children and young adults. Heppermann worked as a reviewer of young adult books for the Chicago Tribune. Her 2014 young adult novel, “Poisoned Apples,” was included in Publishers Weekly’s list of the best books of the year.
