Christine Haas

Christine Haas worked as an editor before writing more than twenty children’s books, including fiction and nonfiction on a range of subjects. She studied history, German, and political science. Her book “Hanna und der Flug des Adlers” (Beltz & Gelberg, 2020) was nominated for the Swiss Prix Chronos intergenerational book prize in 2020. With the children’s book project “Gipfelpech,” she was a fellow of the Academy for Children’s Media in Erfurt under her former surname, Stahr, and reached the final round in 2020.
