Christine Dwyer Hickey

Christine Dwyer Hickey, born in Dublin in 1958, is an Irish author and playwright. She has written novels, short stories and plays, and her work has been translated into several languages. Her novels were nominated for, among others, the Orange Prize and the Prix L’Européen de Littérature. She received the Walter Scott Prize and the Dalkey Literary Award for her novel *Schmales Land*.
