Christine Drews

Christine Drews studied German and psychology and began working for various television productions during her studies. From 2002 onward, she worked as a freelance screenwriter on films, family and comedy series, and television formats. Her first novel, “Schattenfreundin,” was published in 2013. It was translated into six languages and adapted for German television by ZDF; it also launched the Münster crime series featuring investigators Charlotte Schneidmann and Peter Käfer. In addition to crime novels and thrillers, Drews has published family novels. Before settling in Cologne, she spent several years living in England.
