Christina Baker Kline

Christina Baker Kline grew up in England and the United States. She taught literature and creative writing and worked as an author and editor of anthologies. Her novel *Der Zug der Waisen* became a major success in the United States and remained at the top of the *New York Times* bestseller list for months. Another of her works is *Die Farben des Himmels*, a literary portrait of a woman who was painted by the American artist Andrew Wyeth.
