Christiane Leesker

Christiane Leesker studied graphic design at Münster University of Applied Sciences and the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Nancy. She subsequently worked in an advertising agency and a bookshop, and as a cookbook editor at a German publishing house. In the early 2000s, she became a freelance graphic designer and author. Together with photographer Vanessa Jansen, she created numerous books on cooking, baking and lifestyle. Their first joint book, about the cuisine of Burgundy’s winegrowers, received a Gourmand Cook Book Award. During her studies, Leesker also regularly took part in the Beaujolais grape harvest.
