Christian Wohlers

Christian Wohlers (born 1966) studied philosophy at the University of Hamburg under Christos Axelos and Wolfgang Bartuschat. In 1999, he received his doctorate with a dissertation on Kant’s theory of the unity of the world. He is also known for eight new translations of works by René Descartes, which received a positive response from both scholars and the literary press.
