Christian v. Ditfurth (born 1953) is a historian and author. He has published nonfiction, thrillers, and crime novels, including the series featuring historian Josef Maria Stachelmann and the thriller series featuring detective Eugen de Bodt. He also wrote a historical crime series about Berlin detective Karl Raben, which begins in the Third Reich and ends in the Federal Republic of Germany. The Eugen de Bodt series received, among other distinctions, the Stuttgart Crime Fiction Prize.
