Christian Gremmels, born in 1941, is Professor Emeritus of Systematic Theology at the universities of Marburg and Kassel. From 1986 to 2008, he chaired the German Federal Republic section of the International Bonhoeffer Society. From 2008 onward, he worked as a gardener.
