Chris Priestley is a British author, illustrator, artist and cartoonist. Born in Hull, he worked as a cartoonist for The Economist and as an illustrator for The Times and The Independent, among other publications. He is known for his books for children and young adults, including the Uncle Montague’s Tales of Terror series. He has been interested in ghost and horror stories since his teenage years.
