Chris Pavone comes from New York and worked for more than 20 years as an editor in the publishing industry before becoming a writer. His debut novel, “The Woman Who Knew Too Much” (“Die Frau, die niemand kannte”), received the Edgar Award and was translated into several languages. His other novels include “48 Stunden. Die Wahrheit kann tödlich sein,” “Die Abrechnung,” and “Der Informant,” the latter being his third novel.
