Chi Hui

Chi Hui (迟卉), born in 1984 in northeastern China, is a Chinese science fiction author. She studied biology at Shanghai Normal University and began publishing in 1999. Her first short story, “The Only Son,” appeared in the magazine Science Fiction World in 2003. Since then, she has published more than one hundred short stories and several novels, receiving several Chinese science fiction awards. From 2017 to 2021, she worked on the editorial staff of Science Fiction World. Some of her works have been translated into English and Korean.
